    The service was outstanding, and the staff, from the manager to the security team, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The only thing we wished could be improved was the parking, as it was a bit tricky. Overall, it was a delightful experience!

    If fine dining is only about the food Sec scores four out of five. The food was delicious other than the bread (buns) served before the meal which appeared to have been purchased off the shelf at Checkers or Pick n Pay. Fine dining is, however, about the experience. No signage on Sturdee indicating this is the location of the restaurant. The security guard was fabulous but all downhill from there. The restaurant is noisy and very basic. No tablecloths on the table, cutlery literally off the shelf purchases from grocery stores. Stemware and crockery is nice as one would expect paying the prices of the food. Our waiter was inattentive and needed to be reminded two or three times to top up our wine glasses. Service was slap dash. At the end of the meal we were advised that Sec no longer offers free corkage but we would not be charged! Had we been charged I would not have paid. Sec should advise all prospective patrons that free corkage is no longer available. This was one of the drawcards which influenced the decision of where to spend our thirtieth anniversary. All in all a very disappointing experience. If fine dining, which Sec claims to be, is not only about the food but the entire experience, then Sec has a significant amount of work to do to justify their menu prices.
