Our popular Winelands destination has developed a devoted following since 2009. As of the first of July the restaurant is under new ownership of Nicole Marais. Being a mom of two she has decided to change the restaurant to a family friendly establishment.

Guests are invited to come and enjoy a relaxed family dinning experience on our wraparound balcony, where you become one with nature with our prized vineyards right there in front of you. Nicole describes her style as wholesome bistro food. We have all the right ingredients including award-winning wines, a seasonal, flavorful, beautifully plated menu. Kiddie menu as well as a woodfired pizza menu, a jungle gym, ice-cream and wine pairing, kiddie pairing so the little ones don't need to feel left out and priceless views.

We invite parents to come relax while the little ones make their own pizza, decorate a cupcake, play with the toys or play outside.

    We made a booking and when we arrived nobody knew who we were. I had to look for my own name on the reservation sheet. There was a waiter sleeping on one of the tables outside with a full ashtray at his table. He was clearly hungover. When one of the waitresses called him awake, he left the ashtray on the table. Papers lying around. Cigarette butt's in potplants. We waited 10 minutes and when we hadn't received a menu or a waitress at our table to take a drinks order, we decided to leave. When we were practically in the car, one of the waitresses screamed at us from the restaurant to hear if everything was okay. After we shouted back telling her that nobody is interested in our business, she still didn't come to ask us if there was something they could do. Will never go back or recommend to anyone. This after I was so looking forward to their food that looked so good.

    We enjoyed the pizzas and the views are stunning. Wines are a little expensive though.

    Really exceeded my expectations. My 3 year old son enjoyed it too. Really loved the kiddie menu as well
