Introducing the Coco Safar High Tea - a Culinary Voyage where theatrical, whimsical creations take on a new meaning and are married with the classics, executed at a couture level. A journey of discovery, the Coco Safar High Tea is a multi-sensory experience that will take you from Cape Town to Istanbul and Paris and from there to Shanghai. Think old fashioned trolleys with table side plating by our executive chef, like you would see at the world’s most exquisite grand hotels of the 1940s and 50s, but with a contemporary twist. It's a savoury and sweet sensory experience that is beyond what you can imagine. Every piece of culinary art you will enjoy in this culinary journey will be memorable and out of the ordinary.

The idea is amazing, there is not enough balance between sweet and savory. It would be better to be truthful about not having stock, rather then telling “stories” when the truth comes out in the end. Rather disappointing experience.

We loved the décor of the place, however apart from one other diner the place was empty so no ambience or vibe. we waited for a while for our cocktails to arrive and once the tapa's arrived we never saw our waitor again. One or two of the tapa's are not enough for two. I suggest you relook at them. The Bobotie, trout etc.. My drink was finished and the waitor did not come to ask if I would like a refill. Pity I really would have liked another Magerita. The was a lot of hype about the dessert station but we had very little choice last night. I believe the Wednesday evenings are really nice with live music and I suppose that would create a nice vibe and ambience.

Amazing food. Terrible service. Staff seem unsure and inexperienced. A pity for such a beautiful restaurant.

The food was the best value for money. Our waiter was great but I think he got overwhelmed a bit with the crowd so made but otherwise 10/10
