We opened in 1998 and we have been the busiest restaurant in Camps bay since opening. We take pride in our work and provide the best Seafood quality. Customer satisfaction is very important to us.

We do not advertise. We believe that the best advertising is word of mouth of happy guests and this is what has kept us full and busy for the last 17 years! A good name and great reputation cannot be bought. It has been earned through consistency over time.

We have no menus. Our warm and highly trained waitrons instead guide you through our extensive array of delicious and incredible selection of fresh seafood and help you to select an individual plate or platter for the table. They will explain as to the different tastes and textures of the seafood and how the food is prepared and served and show you the cost of your selection.

    We stayed in Camps Bay, 5 mintues from the Codfather, for a few days and dined there twice. The first time was at a friend's recommendation and we liked it so much that we had to go back again before leaving Cape Town. The food is excellent and the service attentive. The restaurant is busy, so make sure you reserve your table ahead of time. But it'll be worth it. We will be back.

    Great fish selection and sushi. Really enjoyed the time we were there. Service was great, really engaging servers. Cape salmon was a first, delicious. Prices are reasonable.

    Incredible spot for seafood and sushi! Quite the spoil though! Great service, the best spot is in the wine cellar ;)
