    The food at Create Taroko was delicious. The service was great and the staff were friendly. The venue had ample supplies to paint and be creative. I will definitely be coming back for a third time!

    We had a booking for 12:00 yesterday (1 February 2026) I have been here before and was expecting the same level of service, but unfortunately this was not the case. We ordered 2 x chicken Mayo toasties, they were oily and not toasted properly. My quiche was good. Our waiter was extremely soft spoken, we could not hear what he said half the time. He wasn't prepared coming to our table, had to go back and get a writing instrument as he could not remember to bring a milkshake and an orange juice. To try and get him to come and take our order when our other party arrived, well, we had to go call for him, he just didn't bother. He eventually came to our table after the food arrived and said something, no one could hear him, so we just nodded. Eventually another waitress came to our table, apologising because the 3rd toastie took long, we never order three, we only order two. The drinks took extremely long to reach us. We didn't even want to order anything else for the fear that it would take so long (talking about 20 minutes for the drinks to arrive). Not only that, he didn't come and check on us once. The excuse is that he was in training - which I can understand, but it was an awful experience with him. We kept polite as we have compassion for the fact that he was in training, but it ruined our experience to some extend. This was a special meeting, it wasn't just a group of people getting together, this was a special meet and greet between these girls and I chose this venue and activity for an ice breaker. Well, talking about the poor service was surely an ice breaker. Sorry to say, but don't think we will return (will only return to pick up our stuff) Our bill was R 1 400.00 for the four of us, that is a lot of money for something that was not that great.

    A wonderful experience. I feel refreshed and ready for the week ahead. The service is great and everybody is so helpful. This is good for the soul.
