Excellent all round and nothing that I could even nitpick. One of the very best overall dining experiences I have experienced. Chef Candice is a culinary genius.

The food and ambience was amazing. Service could have been better- there was no one on the floor overseeing if all is in order apart for the waiter. There was a time where there was no one available to ask when I wanted to go to the bathroom, this can’t be put on the waiter coz he was also servicing other tables. Our waiter was good but there were others who came in between who didn’t seem to have appropriate etiquette for a top dining experience. I hope the service can improve as we are hoping the restaurant can in the future earn itself a Michelin Star or similar. All the best on your journey.

I was genuinely excited to try Cyra after hearing about its reputation and awards, but unfortunately our dinner turned out to be one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. From the very start it felt like the chef was trying too hard to impress, with overly complex combinations that simply didn’t work on the palate. For example, a rich lamb dish was bizarrely paired with anchovies, creating a salty clash that overshadowed any natural flavour of the meat — it was confusing and frankly unpleasant. Rather than a refined fine-dining experience, several dishes felt mismatched and pretentious, like the kitchen was focused on presentation and novelty instead of real flavour balance. To make matters worse, both of us ended up feeling sick after the meal — something neither of us expected or hoped for. Given the glowing reviews and accolades Cyra has received, I really wanted to enjoy this dinner — but in our case it was a let-down from start to finish.
