    Wine pairings and service of waiters was excellent , food especially the main which was beef fillet had a beetroot purée that was flavoured with excessive amounts of cumin. Potatoes which accompanied the beef were also very salty. Seabass was also over salted

    It was my first time here and I’m definitely going back. I had the 4 course menu.. which had salmon so tender and the beef was made to perfection. My friend had the pork instead of salmon that that too was so lovelee. I don’t like Turkish delights much but theirs was delicious. I chose the wine pairing menu, and it was perfectly matched. The only thing I thought could be improved is the wine - it was poured in tasting portions, but difference between the food without wine and with wine is essentially a whole bottle of wine (per person.. so we could have got 2 bottles). I would never finish a bottle of wine at one meal sitting, however if I’d paid for it I’d take it home to have another time. So the Value for money on the food is on par.. but could be better on the wine. The hospitality and ambience tops everything. Peter was our main waiter.. but we also had Mthulisi and Mpilo doting on us. And Simba was our knowledgeable and charming sommelier. I can’t remember the floor manager’s name but he also came to check if we were happy with the table choice as I specified in the booking that I’d like a table by the window for the views. Thank you gentlemen for making my friend and I feel like royalty on our lunch date. All things were absolutely lovelee!!

    We had an amazing anniversary celebration at CYRA! Their 7-course meal was exquisite — highlights included the Roast Garlic Brioche with Smoked Tomato, the Tuna with mustard and radish, and our absolute favorite, the Pork Funnel with licorice. The Goats Cheese with tonka bean and apricot was the perfect finish. Not to forget their palate cleanser! Huge thanks to our exceptional host, Mpilo, who also recommended their sister restaurant, Sebule! Thank you .
