    Probably not the most affordable restaurant in Tulbag but woth every penny. The menu is well balanced and offers something for every taste. The choice of wines is balanced and complements the dishes. Too bad that the offer of wine by the glass is limited to one white and one red in a region like Tulbagh… We enjoyed our evening anyway with good food and excellent service.

    Just another lovely night out at Daphne's. We had the fish cakes and chicken livers for starters and the gnocchi and wildebeest for mains which were sll just divine. All washed down with a bottle of Krone borealis bubbles. Staff were wonderfully attentive and David brought his usual wit and charm to top off a memorable night out. We will be back!!

    Everything was superb, an outside table would have been preferred but no issue. Just a pointer, a lot of walk ins and no one knows where to go while everyone is eating, sort of obligated to point them towards the reception area....i would open your lawns to picnics, as an alternative on hot summer days. Loved the place.

    Stunning restaurant with a warm feeling and excellent service. Just a comment, I would like to have more than one rest room in place though.

    Had a fantastic evening at Daphne’s, celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary. The best peri-peri chicken livers I’ve ever had ,hands down, the salmon fish cakes were magnificent too, cooked perfectly . For mains, my wife had the fillet steak ,which was incredible ,and I had the Katsu pork curry, a first for me, absolutely delicious. We will be back very soon, and thank you to our lovely waitress ,Rebecca, who made us feel so welcome and gave us a very informative breakdown of the menu. See you soon ! G&M
