Internet Explorer
For Internet Explorer 9 or newer, simply follow these steps. For Internet Explorer 8 or earlier, the only difference is that “Internet Options” is found under the “Tools” menu button.
- Click on the setting icon that looks like a Gear in the upper right corner.
- Click on Internet Options in the Dropdown
- The pop-up menu will show a variety of options, click on the “Security Tab”
- On the Security Tab is a button that says “Custom Level” – click that.
- This opens up a Security Settings pop-up, scroll down until you find the “Scripting” section.
- Choose to Enable any site which has JavaScript.
- Press OK on the Security Settings Pop-up, then the Internet Options Pop-up
Firefox
Firefox doesn’t have easy button access to JavaScript settings, but the procedure to enable/disable JavaScript is just as simple.
- Go the URL and type “about:config” without quotes, and hit Enter.
- This brings a page with a prompt to click a button labeled “I’ll be careful, I promise” – click this button.
- This brings up a Preferences List, there is a toolbar at the top, type “javascript” into the tool bar and hit enter
- This brings up a set of results, go to the one labeled “javascript.enabled” and double click it to switch it to enabled
That’s it, you can close the about:config tab without hitting OK, just close the window or type in a new page URL.
Chrome
Changing the JavaScript settings in Chrome is fairly simple, but requires navigating through a few menus.
- Click the “Hamburger” icon of three vertical lines in the upper right.
- Find the label called Settings and click that.
- In the Settings Page, scroll down and find the hyperlink labelled “Show Advanced Settings…” Click that.
- Under the advanced settings, there is a button labelled “Content Settings…” Click that.
- This opens a pop-up, scroll down until you come to JavaScript Settings. Ensure that the slider is set to Allowed (recommended)”
For advanced users, managing the exceptions allows the user to either allow or disallow JavaScript on an individual page.
Opera
Enabling/disabling JavaScript in Opera is also extremely simple.
- Click on the Opera button in the upper left corner
- Click on the Settings Menu Selection
- This brings up a new Settings page, click on the Websites option on the left navbar.
- Find the section labeled JavaScript, enable it here.
We are unhappy with the following: The original menu send to us when we made the booking is different as what we got, out original starters was Cingale e Buono, or the Mushrooms on toast, and we got Framboise or Snoekie. No Palate cleaners were given to us Our Main menu that was given to us originally was Pichanha & Fillet or Prince of Persia or Chicken bang bang or Geelbek, we were given Weiveld & Bosveld or Prince of Persia or Farmer brown or Paella deconstructed Our Deserts also not the same was the original menu send to us, Original it was Garden Brulee or Boring old Malva Pudding or Tarte Tatin and what was given to us was: Garden Brulee or Coconut or Tarte Tatin. Then the ladies who ordered the Weiveld & Bosveld, were not asked how the want their meats, Rear or well done and were also not informed that it will all be Rear to Medium Rear, they did not like it as they like their meat well done, it it is served only in one way, my suggestion is to tell the customer the meat is not well done.
Ate at DK Burger - we waiting a very long time for everything. Burger was served and by the time the pizzas came, the burger was cold already. Waiting staff nowhere in sight. Had multiple waiters who didn't communicate with each other - ended up going to the bar a few times to request things. Used to be great, not sure what is going on.
3 of the 4 meals were very good. My fish bowl was very disappointing - the hake was not flaky as what I would expected - overcooked - the food was cold. The other 3 had pork belly and they enjoyed their meal Very disappointing was the whiskeys. The Jameson did not taste like Jameson and when asked to bring the bottle - it was empty. The next option was Tullamore Dew- same experience and when asked to see the bottle - it was empty The Jack Daniels was the last option - also tasted like water was added. When asked to see the bottle it was also empty
The service was amazing from the planning phase to our arrival and during lunch. Sakkie and everyone else so professional. Thank you! Portions are a bit small, but the food was interesting, delicious and beautifully plated. Bathroom was clean when we arrived, but could have done with a freshening up later. Thank you for a lovely experience.
