    It was a wonderful experience. The meal was top class....the waitress was very informative. Highly recommended. One small point....the table wasn't ready when we arrived and at times we had to pour our own wine....but in saying that, it did not retract from the experience.

    Absolutely superb experience. The hotel is gorgeous & beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff were exceptional, so charming & attentive. We chose the ‘sea’ menu and loved every delicious mouthful which they took great care to explain. Looking forward to returning for another experience.

    Unfortunately there are only 5 stars to give - I would have loved to give 10 stars!!! WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. Compliments to Executive Chef Gregory Henderson and the staff bringing his vision and homage to Cape Town to life at our table. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a special occasion. We could not have chosen a better place to celebrate our 20th wedding annivesary. Thank you so much to the team at de Tafel for making this the most memorable dinner we have ever had!
