    While the food was generally excellent, the verbal presentation was pretentious and detracted from the whole experience. It also took an hour for the first course to arrive and three hours to get through all five. I suggest less story and more service.

    Excellent dinner! what a wonderful experience. The restaurant is beautiful and intimate, with service that is warm and welcoming. The food was beautifully prepared, with a story behind it all and everything we ate was absolutely delicious. We heard about the restaurant from a friend and it absolutely exceeded all expectations. Wow, what a gem of a restaurant in such a gorgeous setting,

    The service was absolutely amazing. from the welcoming, I felt soo happy. My waiters name was Teagan and she was soo friendly and helpful in every aspect. Will definitely recommend for couples for date nights etc.

    Wow what a night at de Tafel! The food was incredible and the service exceptional. Every member of staff was clearly invested and passionate about the menu. It was lovely and relaxed, we didn't feel rushed which meant we could enjoy the evening at our own pace. I would highly recommend dining at de Tafel! My only feedback for the time is that at the end of the night, we would love to have spent sime time with the sommelier, Richard had some fantastic knowledge of the wines on offer but we weren't able to share a glass with him.
