    The food is always outstanding at Democracy bar, I feel like if they made the venue more upmarket they could attract a lot more clientele

    The Food was good except it was way too spicy, which was not stated on your menu. My dining companion had to send it back.

    Made a booking and when I rocked up / it was a private party . They were willing to let us in but it was not our planned night for heavy metal … should book out your website then . Had to find another place

That said, we completely understand how it could have caught you off guard if you were expecting something different. Our team did attempt to reach out ahead of time to let you know, but unfortunately it seems we weren’t able to get hold of you. We genuinely appreciate you pointing this out, and we’ll be improving our process going forward by adding event disclaimers, clearer notices on our website and booking platforms, and additional reminders to ensure all guests are fully informed ahead of their visit.     I will come again when there is no event but waitress expected a tip from me from doing nothing. Took her an hour to bring our drinks .
