    This was one of the best meals we've experienced at Deux Lions. The service is friendly and impeccable, the value is incredible, and the ambience is outstanding. We chose the winter specials today. Our starters were both perfect, with a yummy ginger and potato soup and Korean chicken with noodles being the choices. Then along comes a perfectly cooked and sauced ostrich filet, with delicious sides. Loved the candied pineapple and the sweet potato tartlet. Well done to all at Deux Lion!

    We had a great time at Deux Lion. The food was excellent and the ambiance even better as it was a glorious day and we sat in the garden. But the best part was the service. The staff were amazing and made us feel at home.

    Hidden gem in Franschoek. Staff are lovely and we had a delicious lunch overlooking the garden .

    Delicious meal; beautifully presented by efficient and friendly waitress. Love the outside setting in the garden under the huge oaks. One of our favourite lunch spots.

    We had a fabulous lunch at Deux Lions. I just wondered why the price showed R 280 on the Dineplan site as was actually R 310 for two courses. We were happy with the price as it is great value. We will return.

    This restaurant never disappoints. Pleasant staff, cozy fireplace, excellent service. A limited but fine alacarte menu. Our go to place. Keith Stewart
