Sunset Jazz Event.

Were hosting a special sunset concert at Deux Lions in anticipation of the Montreux Jazz Festival weekend. An evening with the LMJ Trio, good food, and that golden-hour Franschhoek light we love so much. Includes: Live jazz performance. South African braai feast buffet. A glass of Deux Lions Rose or Two-in-a-Bush iced tea on arrival. Expect composed warm salads, lamb chops, boerewors, BBQ snoek, rump skewers and a proper ginger pudding to end it off. No cash permitted. Booking essential.

    Thoroughly enjoyed our second visit and the food was delicious. The fire was a great touch on a chilly, wet day.

    We received a very warm welcome from the superb staff at the restaurant. The ambience and quality of food were first class. I would certainly recommend a visit if you are in Franschhoek.

    We are frequent visitors, and we refer many guests. However, this time the food was not up to the standard we are used to at Deax Lions. I had the pork that was overcooked, and the gnocchi dish was bland, lacking depth of flavour. We will try again.

    A wonderful dinner beautifully presented. All the dishes we chose were delicious and we enjoyed a visit from the chef to our table. Our server, Jodine,, was welcoming, attentive, knowledgeable and engaging. We would highly recommend Deux Lions.
