    I had the special of the day ostrich and my wife had the filet on the slate. Both were cooked perfectly and the accompaniments were excellent. The wine choices were very good and the staff were extremely friendly, the manager spoke to us on numerous occasions Would definitely eat there again.

    Amazing meal at this beautiful estate. Hidden gem. Had the catch of the day and seafood risotto - both excellent. On a wind free sunny day there is a lovely garden to sit in.

    As always, an exceptional experience at Deux Lions. The food was absolutely delicious and we paired our dishes with wines that went very well with them. Service by Dominic and Claudia - superb, food by Shawn - sublime. Thank you for a fabulous evening!

    The setting and gardens at Deux Lions is magnificent especially with all the plum blossoms out in full bloom. The Camembert was not ripe enough but the rest of the platter was good as was the seared tuna starter.

    Winter dining in front of a crackling fire and wonderful wine from the estate. Lunch at Deux Lions is a great way to spend a winter afternoon. The kingklip was divine and the service excellent.

    Wonderful lunch in the gorgeous, pet-friendly garden. Service amazing even though we were a big group. Highly recommended!

    The best mussels I have ever had! Not the usual creamy wine and garlic sauce but coconut cream and sweet chilli. Oh so good. And the gnocchi was delicious too.
