    We had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, the fireplace created a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the staff were amazin, friendly, polite, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. Excellent service, great food, and a fantastic ambiance. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!

    Today was an absolutely gorgeous day in Franschoek, so our group of 4 enjoyed outside seating. Absolutely stunning, no notes. The inside was cozy with multiple fireplaces, but then you walk outside to a stunning garden with breathtaking backdrops of the mountains. You can enjoy lunch on the patio or riverside, the views are incredible everywhere. Food was divine, we were swayed when we arrived by how good the winter special menu looked. Divine! We did 2 courses for 350, everyone loved what they picked. Shantal was an amazing server, friendly and attentive we’ll be requesting her again next time! We also loved the chef, he came out to check on us and you can tell he’s so passionate about his food and guests. This is a must stop if you’re in the Franschoek area.

    The main seafood dish with prawn risotto was delicious. I never had tomato and basil soup before and even though it was very well prepared it wasn’t too my liking.

    Just had our first time at Deux but it certainly won’t be our last. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere fabulous, and the service exceptional.

    Sensational! The steak on the lava stone was out of this world . Fantastic service . My favourite place in town.

    We’ve been to Deux Lions a few times now and the food never disappoints. The winter special menu is fantastic value for top notch food. The staff are very welcoming and the blazing fire creates a lovely snug atmosphere

    What a beautiful hidden gem. Only found this place by coincidence, but so glad we did. The setting, food, service are all exceptional.
