    Eat Restaurant hosted our 2025-26 Hout Bay Rotary President Induction dinner on 13 May. Everything was perfect and we had a wonderful evening. Food and service cannot be faulted. Thank you Hout Bay Manor Hotel and EAT Restaurant for an unforgettable evening.

    Disastrous meal - Everitt g went wrong on Mother’s Day lunch. To be fair they handled it well - but it was very disappointing

    Totally lacking in ambiance … the restaurant was empty (only 2 other diners) as the telephone line was down and interested people could not make a reservation. I had to drive there beforehand to make a reservation. The service was very slow, and the food not to the same standard ss before.

    My vegetarian dish was very disappointing. I could only eat a small part. Strange flavor. Husband’s food was very good though.

    We were VERY impressed with the breakfast. The persian eggs especially went down extremely well, and the service was wonderful. Although it was windy we sat outside which was very protected. The inside ambience feels like it could do with some work.

    Our post-wedding dinner at Hout Bay Manor, was honestly amazing! The venue is absolutely beautiful and created such a relaxed, elegant atmosphere—perfect for winding down after our big day. The service was top-notch—friendly, professional, and made us and our guests feel totally taken care of. Everything ran so smoothly, and the team was just lovely to deal with. A huge shoutout to Wendy and the team, the food was out of this world! Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Our guests are still talking about it. Thank you Wendy and everyone at Hout Bay Manor for making the evening so special. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to end off our day. The room was impeccable. 10/10 from us.
