    This is one of the restauarnts in Joburg where the food is actually good. In fact it is exceptional. The staff are friendly and efficient and the ambience befits the cosy, intimate space. I had a wonderful experience and will keep coming back. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!

    This was, by consensus, our best meal in our 10-day vacation in South Africa. Every single dish was mind-blowing, with multiple elements coming together to elevate the overall dish far beyond what the description suggests. We ordered the dirty bird, cracked calamari, lamb loin, ostrich fillet, and pumpkin tortellini. There was not a single dish or ingredient we did not enjoy. Every bite was a surprise with the burst of flavors. Think you’ve had calamari? Wait until you try this version. The menu description of the pumpkin tortellini sounded pretty ordinary. But when I bit into it (please bite into a whole piece; DO NOT CUT IT), I started doubting if I’ve ever had tortellini. THIS is what tortellini should taste like! I generally hate lentils, but I really wanted to try ostrich meat, so I decided to order it but just not touch the lentils. Oh boy, I mopped up every drop of it. Thanks to Bheki for the excellent service and recommendations. I’m not sure why so many reviewers complained about the portions. Two of us ordered five items and were too full to try the desserts. Try this place. You won’t regret it.
