At Emily Moon we use only the freshest homegrown and local produce to prepare our mouthwatering home-style menu, which includes dishes like KAROO LAMB RACK, tomato & butter bean bredie, orange beetroot puree, spinach, garlic croquettes and red wine jus; BUTTER CHICKEN SAMOOSAS, fresh coriander and pineapple chutney; and MILLE-FEUILLE (vegan), beetroot lentils, orange braised sweet potato and Napoli vegetables.

    Amazing meal, all delicious and good portions! We totally love Emily’s for its incredible sundowner spot overlooking the river, cosy and uniquely decorated dining space and interesting food menu. As a local we come back time and again especially for special occasions.

    Although the fried haloumi was oily and heavy handed , we had the best rib eye steak in a long time. The room and venue is the star of the evening as always.

    Recommend for the ambiance and location but the food did not live up to expectations. Limited vegetarian options and the starters very disappointing.

    Great food. Lovely setting. Service a bit slow but the real issue is the restaurant is absolutely freezing. The patio doors are sub standard and the freezing wind passes through them. So the whole restaurant was ice cold. Everyone complaining. Manager just disappeared. That said food and wine great.
