    Great experience, however the food wasn’t up to standard to be honest. Frozen ingredients when we expected fresh supply and the final cheese / dessert dish was inedible.

    This is a Four Seasons steakhouse, but in our experience it was well below the usual Four Seasons standard. A lamb chop ordered medium was served undercooked (closer to rare/medium-rare) and was only replaced once, with the second attempt still not meeting expectations. In addition, a fish dish was served with paprika despite a clearly stated allergy, and then simply returned without it, which was concerning. Overall, disappointing, and not a place we would choose to visit again.

    Great restaurant. Very clean. The service stood out for me. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Made sure we were happy and comfortable. The place is beautiful 😍 the views were also great. The only let down for me was the food. The prawns were too salty for my liking. My husband also tried them but couldn’t handle them. Never thought we could ever leave prawns on our plate. That was a first. We are usually fighting for them and order more. Even with side lemon and sauce they were still salty. The lamb shank was lovely would have preferred it to not have the beans. The beans from the chakalaka kind of put the whole dish down. We had cheese cake for dessert. No! It was too sweet for my liking. My hubby also had two spoons from it. It didn’t taste like a cheese cake at all. It tasted like just a sweet vanilla treat. Neither good or bad, it just didn’t live up to its name, “cheese cake”. Overall, I would go back to try their other food options. Would also go back for the vibe, wine and a peaceful relaxed beautiful atmosphere.

    So overall experience was good, the waitress and hostess were very friendly and accommodating. We would have loved to have the beef fillet medium rare but we enjoyed ourselves nonetheless.
