    The whole experience was out of this world. From making the booking until leaving after a wonderful buffet breakfast. The reception, the view, the food, the service all contributed to a most memorable morning.

    We didn't eat but the basque cheesecake was nothing reminiscent of the name ; neither creamy, nor tasty. Noel, our waiter and the rest of the staff who extremely friendly and welcoming- made the experience worthwhile. The best view and setting but sadly that one little piece of cake needs sorting out. It was removed from our bill , but I would've loved to have eaten a good slice of cake

    The staff was welcoming and we felt they wanted to please. However our experience was very disjointed. We had at least 3 different waiters-one who said he would take our order, and then disappeared. Another waiter took our order, but didn’t seem to know the menu or options. He recommended a wine which was not available. When the entrees arrived they had forgotten the side dishes. One dish had to be redone because the kitchen managed to burn gnocchi. Our third wait person was friendly, but kept disappearing. Lots of staff, everyone very helpful, but no one seemed to know what was going on with our food. The food was okay-but we’ve eaten better at most places on our trip-even in safari camps.
