Folk Cafe is a family friendly restaurant located in St James, beside the iconic St James tidal pool. Folk offers an excellent variety of food, with a focus on using ethical ingredients (free range, grass fed and organic) that are locally sourced and produced wherever possible.

All of the cakes are baked in house and food from the seasonal menu is made fresh, and to order, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The wood fired pizza can't be beat! There is also an extensive wine offering, beer on tap, milkshakes and smoothies for those with a sweet tooth, plus we roast and distribute our own signature coffee.

The location offers a playground for the kids and a sea view for the adults, live music every Saturday afternoon and a large outdoor area to accommodate bigger groups.

    This is the second pre-wedding function we have booked at Folk Cafe. On both occasions every one of our guests commented on the quality of the food and the very welcoming and professional staff. Great effort was put into creating a beautiful setting and relaxed atmosphere that made for a very successful and happy evening. The chefs were amazing, and Ethel led the team so competently. Thank you, Laurence, for making communication so easy and the organisation so effortless. We will be back for our regular visits and for our bigger special occasions xx
