    We love visiting Cape Town in the quiet season. One can get reservations without long in advance bookings and then there is the winter specials giving great value. We lunched on a Tuesday and were fortunate to share the very attentive service with only a few others. Wendy was very professional and efficient but Carlo stole the show because he was pouring wine! His passion and knowledge was contagious, we thouroghly enjoyed his wine pairing. The spotless plates going back to the kitchen was a testimony to wonderful dishes.

    We returned to Foxcroft after first visiting three years ago, and we’re happy to say that the quality has remained just as excellent. The service was warm and professional — we even recognized a few familiar faces from our last visit, which added a nice personal touch. If you’re into fine dining with a spicy touch, Foxcroft will not disappoint. The dishes are creative, beautifully plated, and full of bold, well-balanced flavors — and the wine pairing was spot on. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care go into both the menu and the overall dining experience. That said, the prices have gone up noticeably since our last visit, so be prepared for a steeper bill. Still, for the quality of food and service, it’s a worthwhile splurge and better compaired with Protege in Franschoek.

    Not what it used to be! Food is ok, not brilliant; and they’ve put up prices. It used to be our favorite local- and is still a good restaurant - but now lacks value

    Nice experience. Also good wine pairing. Appetizers were the best! Wasn't a big fan of the desserts. Overall very nice and would def. recommend going there

    We have been to this restaurant several times over the last few years .Last time we came the whole experience was excellent. This time it was not. The vegetarian option was disappointing with long gaps between courses. We will not return.
