The Gilroy Restaurant is an award-winning, popular destination venue for friends and family. Situated in Paulshof. We welcome you to join us in the beer garden, or to relax in our Old School Pub, where everyone feels at home.

Every day has something Happening.
Tuesday's features Quiz Night, with Beer as prizes!
Wednesdays is alive with the joyous noises of Beer Pong.
Thursdays has Live Music and Happy Hours!
Fridays always entertains with some of the best Live Music available in Gauteng.
Saturday's, we host the Beer Experience (bookings required) and as always Live Music in the Afternoon and at Night!
Sundays are relaxed with some old school live music.
We also have large screens for all the biggest sporting events

    Was served a completely raw uncooked Eisbein. Burgers also were pretty poor, stale bun and chips fried in old rancid oil, will not be going there again.

    There is obviously nothing I can say to repair this. Sorry for your experience, I can only hope that all of our other good reviews shows that this is not the norm. The oil is replaced twice a week and we are quite proud of our burgers and our bakery that supply the buns. Again apologies for the experience you had.

    Absolutely dismal service, chicken wings took 45minutes, and still didn’t arrive.

    Hi Travis, I'm sincerely sorry for your experience. A 45-minute wait for chicken wings is not the standard we aim for, and I completely understand your frustration. Unfortunately, this happened during an unexpected surge of customers after a TikTok about Gilroy's went viral. While that explains the delays, it doesn't excuse them. We've already taken steps to improve our staffing and service so we're better prepared in future.     My waiter did not know English. They served me an hour after sitting down. I had to get up and go to the kitchen to find out where my food is, I was not even offered a menu upon arrival. Absolutely hated it, I would not recommend that restaurant to anybody.
