GlenWood is a boutique winery located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and tranquility close to Franschhoek. We offer top quality wines, personal service and a range of unforgettable experiences. These are:

· Wine Tasting (11.00 - 16.00, Tues - Sun, no booking required)

· Vine to Bottle Tour (11.00, Tues - Sun, no booking required).

· Gourmet Sushi (Tues - Sun, booking required on dineplan)

Wine and Fynbos Tour (Tues - Sun, phone or email booking required).

    We have here for a wine tasting and added some food from the sushi restaurant. The Chardonnay is fantastic, but the set up of the tasting area was not convenient. The sushi was just okay, because it wasn’t cold enough. It’s was an interesting experience.

    We had another wonderful experience here, this time doing the fynbos nature trail., with wine tasting and lunch at the top of a small mountain overlooking the proteas, vineyards and the dams. Chris was an excellent guide and driver of the jeep, and we enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended. We also met the owner of GlenWood, Alastair, who was charming.

    Service was excellent. With the good food and wine we had a great afternoon. Pity the dessert menu is only limited to one item.

    It's not cheap, but it's an experience beyond the typical, with a great setting and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Worth it as a treat. Oh, and good wine.
