    The pictures make the place look so nice but it’s actually just a mix of badly chosen decor. There were not a-lot of people but the service was extremely slow. Overall not worth the hype

    A must see and experience eatery in Cape Town. The views are incredible. The food was tasty and well presented, albeit rather pricey but I guess you're paying for the "premium views". For the record, my partner and I had the deep fried prawn and salmon sushi. Now here's the bit that lets the place down, the reception and service were below the required standard expected, you would do better with more attention paid to the patrons. We sat for over 20 minutes before we were attended to, something the maitre'd could've ensured didn't happen if she had alerted the waiting staff that new patrons had arrived. Unfortunately, she just left us at a table that needed freshening up from the previous service, and we sat unattended. These minor details do tend to stick in mind and potentially could be detrimental to the establishment. With that being said, I would definitely recommend this place and will visit again next time I'm in Cape Town again.

    Grand Africa is our ab fab every year we visit! Yesterday evening was awesome! 8 stars for ambience, food, drinks, impeccable and personable service by gracious Ms Lulu & Mr Freeman aka Didier Drogba! We started on the beach & continued by the fireplace. Well done Team Grand Africa, wish you continued success!
