Our cuisine includes Greek & Seafood specialities and we are famous for our Greek Meze, our Souvla (spit roast) and our stunning lamb in the oven. choose from over 20 Meze, starters and tapas!

Established in 1992, the Greek Fisherman is one of the original restaurants in the V&A Waterfront and is still owned by the same owners as when the Victoria Wharf, Waterfront opened in 1992.

    Another wonderful evening at The Greek Fisherman! I’d been looking forward to the Mixed Seafood Skewer for a long time and it was exactly as good as it was the first time I had and I’m definitely going back again. Reece did a great job of making sure we had everything we needed for a great evening, with manger Eddie checking in appropriately. A really wonderful spot in Sea Point!

    A couple of things I did notice - the menus were dirty and broken. There were a number of dirty things lying around the garden area - tables not cleaned properly. Music sounded like that of a funeral parlour and not jovial Greek style. Also no lamb available on the menu - which for a Greek restaurant is ridiculous, I thought. Otherwise, the food we had was good and tasty. My friend said his steak rated in the top 5. The dessert was excellent.

    Hi Calvin, Perhaps you did not read the menu properly as We most certainly have lamb? Our slow roasted lamb is our signature dish it being fall off the bone tender, and very popular. It was definitely available yesterday as it is every day. We also have lamb chops and lamb gyros on the menu so I’m not sure what you mean by it being ridiculous that we have no lamb dishes. Also our menu covers are leather and brand new so I’ll look into why they did not appear that way, as well as the fact that things appeared untidy- I’m glad you enjoyed the food though.

    Excellent as usual. This is my favourite restaurant in Sea Point. Everything about it is great and more than highly acceptable. I delight in bringing my guests here as I know it will be a great and extraordinary culinary experience for them. I also like the guard at the entrance as it means no beggars as you enter or leave and no one sleeping along the pavements on the side road. It is a little oasis of civilisation in a country falling apart.

    We chose to sit inside for warmth but felt a bit disappointed not being in the gorgeous courtyard
