The Grill Jichana boasts flame-grilled premium cuts from the best local producers seasoned, infused and flavoured with tastes of the African East Coast spice route.

Dishes are created with flair, flavoured with fragrant cassia, cardamom, turmeric and other heady spices and prepared using the freshest produce. These robustly flavoursome spices complement the grilling of meat, fish and chicken creating the essence of ‘eating good’ or jichana in Swahili slang.

    Absolutely amazing food. My ostrich was cooked perfectly and the service was great. No busses over giving me creamy spinach instead of wilted spinach and I was even offered the option to not have mash and have more creamy spinach instead. Our desserts were perfection. The chocolate fondant is on point every time. I did notice that the chocolate espresso tart was abit smaller than usual but still tasted amazing. The lamb shank was a decent size with the meat so lovely and tender . GREAT RESTAURANT AND SERVICE
