    Potatoes tasted boiled with no salt/flavor. I should of taken the salad instead. Ambience was bad as there was a guest who was noisy and the drilling in the street was bad(but i know it was out of your control). I liked the waitress, she was professional :)

    Perhaps my expectations were high but I did feel very underwhelmed by the service and the food. I'll recap the experience below: The basement parking is pretty tight. I'm grateful that it's at least available but it doesn't leave much room for error and smelled like 100 bins. We went up the stairs and were greeted by wonderful host staff. They guided us to the restaurant where we met another hostess that had our reservation and seated us. The room was mostly empty, tables were well laid, staff were well presented and the seats were very comfortable. The double table was uneven but not a big deal. Our waitress introduced herself, explained that there would be a wait for the food so we placed our order while we waited for our guests to arrive (table of 4). I explained that we had a 20h30 appointment. Our booking was at 18h00, we were seated by 18h05, placed our order at 18h15, our food came by 18h55, finished by 19h40 left at 20h20. We ordered two Carnivore platters, medium rare and rare Tomahawks with 4 glasses of wine, 3 red 1 white for Our waitress, sweet as she was, couldn't really wrap her head around the drinks order, which we had to explain 4 or 5 times. Once we got our drinks, we didn't see her again until we left. We actually ended up waiting about half an hour for her to bring the bill, toothpicks, wet napkins and we didn't get the drinks menu we asked for after ordering. When the platters came, the steaks were rare and rare, room temp and full of sinew. The prawns were pretty small, cooked to hell and were super glued to the shell, the wings tasted boiled and refrigerated, the ribs were oh so overcooked, the corn was nice and the chips were wonderful. The restaurant got real loud halfway through, I'm still not sure why because it wasn't full. When we left, we were thanked and had to rush to our appointment. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be going back. Honestly, it was lackluster at best.

We are also disappointed to hear that the Carnivore platters did not meet the standards we strive for, particularly regarding the preparation of the steaks and other items on the platter.     Everything was great, but the restaurant was too hot which was a bit uncomfortable.

    We had a reservation for six people (three couples) using the Wikideals dinner offer. Upon arrival, I ordered a cappuccino to enjoy while waiting for our starter and requested that my drink be served with my main meal. Unfortunately, the cappuccino only arrived after approximately 25 minutes, together with all the other drinks and our starters. Throughout the evening, the timing of our meals—from starters through to desserts—was inconsistent, with dishes arriving at staggered intervals across the table. While some of the meals were satisfactory, my lamb curry was disappointing, as it contained several whole cardamom pods and sticks of cinnamon, and the rice was undercooked and hard. Additionally, our table was not cleared of used cups and glasses for quite some time. We were informed that separate teams handle clearing plates and drinkware, which seemed to contribute to the delay. To add to the overall disappointment, the dessert we had originally selected was unavailable, despite us placing our order shortly after arriving. The alternative dessert we had to settle for—the chocolate lava cake—was also not well received and unfortunately left some of us feeling unwell. Furthermore, we ordered a 1.5L bottle of water as listed on the menu but were served a 1L bottle while still being charged for the 1.5L. Overall, the experience was quite disappointing and fell short of our expectations for what should have been an enjoyable evening out.
