    Food was superb and the staff extremely attentive and friendly. Arrangements with the booking could have been better, as we received no feedback when we sent an email request the day before, for an additional person to be added. Also, heavy rain and hectic traffic meant that we were about 20 minutes late. We called six times and no one picked up the phone, which was really stressful, as it was an important event. Fortunately, everything was fine on arrival.

    My partner is vegetarian and we chose Grub and Vine after looking at the menu online for his birthday dinner. The vegetarian set menu had 2 options for the main course and my partner agreed to the place as the one main option was to his preference. Only to get there and they only had 1 option for the veg main. The second option by the way was a cauliflower steak. How is cauliflower out of stock? It's not great that they have such a limited menu and then still don't have everything they advertise available. Overall the food was OK, and didn't really live up to the hype and expectations, especially for the price point.

    The food was excellent but service was very slow. we arrived at 6:30pm and by 9pm we still had not received our main. The manager came to apologise so, i will go again and see if service will be different.

    Very upscale preparation and attentive service. Our server, Petrolella, was very thoughtful and professional.

    Fabulous hospitality. Great wine, and I mean great. Blessings is a great wine pro and lover of SA wine. He turned me on to a couple of gorgeous wines. Well done.
