    Last Saturday morning, my family and I had the delightful experience of breakfasting at Shoreditch, nestled within the charming Winchester Hotels in Sea Point. Opting to dine in the beautiful courtyard, we were immersed in an environment that was both inviting and serene, ideal for a family meal. The staff at Shoreditch were exceptionally welcoming, catering to our needs with efficiency and a warm smile. Their service was attentive without being intrusive. Our menu choices were a mix of hearty and refined. I opted for the Winchester Farmers, a robust plate loaded with local flavours and farm-fresh ingredients. My wife enjoyed the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, which she noted was perfectly balanced with a flavourful hollandaise sauce over tender, flaky salmon. Our children were divided between the Winchester Farmers and Eggs Benedict, both of which were met with enthusiastic approval. The portions were generous, and the presentation of each dish was visually appealing, enhancing the overall dining experience. The courtyard setting added a special touch, surrounded by lush plants and the gentle morning sun, creating a peaceful backdrop that allowed us to enjoy our conversations and savor every bite. The coffee and red cupacino with oat milk was the perfect complement to our breakfast, rounding off the meal with its rich, deep flavors. Overall, our visit to Shoreditch was a resounding success. The combination of a friendly atmosphere, attentive service, and deliciously prepared meals made our family breakfast truly memorable. We highly recommend Shoreditch to anyone visiting Sea Point, especially families looking for a comfortable and satisfying dining experience.     My chicken burger tasted absolutely awful, i’m not sure if it was the sauce or just the whole burger. My partners wagyu burger was on the average side too. The only good thing about our burger meals was the fries, they were delicious.

    Rather a surly waiter spoilt an otherwise pleasant evening. We felt the bar staff lacked warmth too. We have stayed here many times over the years and the personal touch seems to have gone.
