    Service was great staff very attentive . Food was average and literally almost all the confectionery was stale . The actual confectionery that’s served as part of the high tea was just little squares coated in sweet icing . The breads where hard and the fillings while adequate wasn’t sandwiched neatly. We chose our own cakes but everything is too sweet . The vegetarian platter was very minimal and the halloumi was hard and dry . The experience was wonderful but I think more daiinty tea cakes and lamingtons and cupcakes would be better. Not a bad experience but the food wasn’t up to scratch .

    I arranged to have my daughters 16th birthday party there. She wanted to have a High-Tea. Yes I know it's a strange choice for a 16 yer old but she loves dressing up and it would be a whole victorian experience. The Decor and ambience was lovely. The service friendly and lovely. Where things fell flat was the food. At R550 per head I expected them the be treated with lovely fresh eats but that was not the case. Pastries that were cold and cakes that were not fresh. Very dissapointing in deed. It was supposed to be an affair with flair but the girls were ready to leave 30 min after they arrived.

    Food was tasty but average, mimosas mostly orange juice with a hint of sparkling wine, decor is ornate and plastic. Overall experience did not meet expectations.

    The high tea was good...however it was not value for money especially since you can only have 1 hot drink with your high tea which is included in the price. Anything additional is an additional cost. The vegan high tea had minimal savories and was not worth the R450 at all. Service was also not great. As always the location and aesthetics of the restuarant was amazing.
