    We had dinner at HIRO yesterday and were so impressed by the food and the very attentive and friendly service that we decided at short notice to come back today (just one day later). But this time, for lunch, because we love enjoying the outdoor atmosphere and the mountain view.

    Sadly they are having to move to Hout Bay from Uitsig. The restaurant was full on a beautiful Tuesday evening. The food was absolutely delicious.

    I absolutely loved Hiro for so many reasons. The food is excellent, the waiter was too. I love the option of small plates to allow for variety. My advice, don't skip desserts and don't hold back!

    This Sunday, a friend and we took advantage of the wonderful afternoon in HIRO's outdoor area and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food. It was as great as ever; the three of us were very satisfied. And the service was once again friendly and attentive.

    This was my 2nd meal at Hiro Izakaya, once again it did not disappoint! The food was amazing, delicious flavours and beautifully presented. Definitely will be returning.

    My first time visiting and would definitely go back. Shared the special for two people, which was incredibly good value. The food was outstanding - just the right combination of spices with a fabulous flavour pop. Service was impeccable. Would recommend.
