Homespun was thoughtfully designed to transport you away from the stress of the outside world. They offer a unique adaptation of European cooking methods, influenced by Asian, local and worldly flavours.

The Restaurant was built out of the creative mind of Matt Schreuder. After several years of experience in top Michelin star restaurants across the globe, Matt decided to open his dream restaurant in Cape Town: Homespun

    A fantastic culinary feast! Visually as well as taste wise. Especially fantastic for one vegan and one regular menu because both options were outstanding. The wine pairing was also excellent. A real treat, thank you.

    Very good in terms of craftsmanship and flavour; I would deduct one point for the paper napkin and for the lack of a tablecloth. Otherwise a clear recommendation. The wine pairing was good, but in my opinion the quality of the wines was not on the same level as the food

    My husband and I went for an anniversary dinner, it did not disappoint. Food was great and presentation was lovely. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The only shame about it was that the restaurant wasn’t very busy which is such a pity. Well worth a visit.

    I've been to the Homespun in Blouberg, and in comparison this was somewhat disappointing. The ambiance is lacking and the pricing is just ridiculous. Food was good but not spectacular. Service was excellent.
