Homespun was thoughtfully designed to transport you away from the stress of the outside world. We offer a unique adaptation of European cooking methods, influenced by Asian, local and worldly flavours.

The Restaurant was built out of the creative mind of Matt Schreuder. After several years of experience in top Michelin star restaurants across the globe, Matt decided to open his dream restaurant in Cape Town: Homespun by Matt.

    Always a pleasure being at homespun! The food is top notch the service fabulous and the ambiance on point!!! Make sure you get a appointment when you’re in blouberg to get the chance having a first class food experience:)

    It's a celebration of flavour and craftmanship. The food is nothing short of extraordinary truly next level. While the pricing might initially seem on the higher side, the value for money is undeniable when you consider the sheer quality, skill and creativity behind every dish. It's not just a meal, it's a culinary experience that leaves a lasting impression. The service was impeccable - attentive and friendly. The waiter's knowledge on the various dishes and flavours were truly impressive. The ambiance was pleasant, though the rustic decor felt slightly understated compared to the incredible sophistication of the food. I highly recommend visiting Homespun, this is a place you need to experience for yourself.

    Always an amazing experience. Food and paring phenomenal. Only critic if I really needed to find one is that I would like to get my cutlery given to me before each course. Can’t wait to come back again for what has become the best treat on the west coast ..

    2nd time that we visit Honespun by Matt in Table view. Fine dining as it should be, personal service makes it complete.
