The beautifully restored 1773 Homestead at Vergenoegd Löw welcomes a limited number of day
guests through pre-booked, curated experiences. Designed as a serene retreat, it offers an
atmosphere of refined calm within historic Cape Dutch surroundings, where bespoke interiors, soft
natural textures and considered details create a sense of effortless luxury. Whether visiting for
breakfast, farm tea or a caviar and Cap Classique/Champagne experience, each moment is
unhurried, intimate and deeply indulgent.

Farm-to-table breakfast
Begin your day with a seasonal, farm-driven breakfast rooted in freshness and simplicity. Much of the
produce is grown on the estate using regenerative, agro-ecological practices, with the rest sourced
from like-minded local producers. The menu offers a balance of comforting classics and lighter
options, from eggs and omelettes to wholesome, garden-inspired plates, house-baked breads and a
continental buffet. A relaxed, nourishing experience best enjoyed at a gentle pace. Breakfast availability is dependent on hotel occupancy, kindly email reservations@vergenoegd.co.za to make your booking.

Farm Tea Experience
A multi-course, heritage-inspired tea experience that journeys through the flavours and traditions of
the Cape. Expect a thoughtful progression from savoury to sweet, with influences spanning
indigenous ingredients, Cape Malay, Khoisan as well as European and Eastern culinary heritage.
Served in a calm, elegant setting, this is a leisurely and immersive experience designed for sharing,
storytelling and indulgence. Please select either the 12:00 or 14:00 timeslots for this experience at R650.00per person.

Merroir Experience
A refined caviar and Cap Classique (or Champagne) pairing that celebrates the flavours of the sea.
This curated tasting unfolds across a series of small plates, from oysters and West Coast prawns to
creative, land-meets-sea combinations. Premium, sustainably produced caviar is paired with the
estate’s own maritime-influenced Cap Classique or optional French Champagne. An elegant, sensory
experience designed for slow enjoyment. Launching soon

Everything was perfect - but if you are staying on the property - the small menu does get a bit repetitive.
