They say money can't buy happiness, but it can buy a Hudsons burger - and that right there is the epitome of happiness.

The freshly baked golden bun with just the right amount of crisp outside and pillowy softness inside; don't underestimate the power of two really good buns, we certainly don't.

If you know us, we don't take life too seriously - we stay up too late, we play the music too loud and wear our jeans a little tighter than they should be. When it comes to our burgers though, it's serious business. We want to make sure that every last bite smacks you through the face with a big whack of happiness.

Thanks to our juicy, perfectly seasoned, sizzled, griddled and charred free-range beef patties, cradled oh-so-gently in-between those aforementioned bronzed buns and draped in our world-famous sauces with generous toppings, each mouthful is simply glorious.

We think this could be the start of a beautiful relationship. Stand back, things are about to get messy: get ready to lose yourself in happiness, otherwise known as The Hudsons Burger.

    The food was good but arrived cold and the service and wasn’t great at all. All nine of us share the same sentiment. Disappointing year end lunch!

    The environment was very noisy to such an extent that parties could not hear each other. There was a female waitress, not ours, who wore a pair of short-shorts exposing her buttocks even while standing still, which is not appropriate attire for work

    They only had 1 of the 3 plant-based burgers available. That was the only reason we were there - for the plant-based options. The waitress did not know that there was no Stella beer, so had to come back and offer us something else. We chose Windhoek Lager. When we wanted another round, she went to get them and then came back to say it was finished. No Hansa either. Food was good but lack of availability of items was very disappointing. Communication between waitress and bar and kitchen was poor and it impacted us negatively.

    The portions are too small for the amount that you pay. Service was also a quite slow, because the venue is a understaffed.

    Our lunch lasted about 7 hours (again!), we were enjoying it so much! Shroom burger is the best, the Nachos are absolutely amazing and the Wagu burgers were devine. Service from Gabby was so warm and friendly! This place is my favorite place to relax and enjoy. Love it! François
