EXPERIENCES

Untutored Tastings:

The untutored Tastings allows you to choose from our Fynbos collection, Liqueuer tasting, The Founders Favorite or our new Distinct experience tasting options. The duration of this experience is at your own leisure. We also offer a kiddies cordial tasting for under 18 years of age patrons. Available from 11am.

Masterclass Tutored Tasting:

The Tutored Tasting is presented in a private tasting room. One of our knowledgeable staff members presents this in-depth journey of our gins paired with our handcrafted chocolates. The duration of this experience is approximately 45min. The cost is R165 per person. Please note no under 18's are allowed in the tasting rooms. Available from 11am.

Gin Academy:

With our gin academy experience you will create your own bottle of 500ml gin, crafted with the botanicals of your choice. This experience also includes a welcome drink, a tutored tasting with all the Inverroche gins paired with hand-crafted chocolates as well as a delectable gourmet platter.
The duration of this experience is approximately 2 hours. The cost is R1050 per person. Please note no under 18s will be allowed in the gin academy studio.

Guided Tours:

Join one of our knowledgeable staff members who will take you on a tour through our Brand Home and Still Room, sharing our history and production process in this 1-hour experience. A complimentary tasting of our 3 Gins, paired with our bespoke chocolates, is included in the guided tour. The cost of the tour is R260 per person.

T&Cs

Please note that no alcohol will be served to under 18s and no under 18s are allowed in the Gin Academy Studio or the Formal Tasting Rooms. We also strongly discourage the serving of alcohol to pregnant women, intoxicated guests, as well as drinking & driving. Please ask us about transport services available in and around Stilbaai.

Though we hold a deep appreciation for pets, our distillery is exclusively open to guide dogs. We thank you for your understanding.

    Annalise was great, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about her job. When paying for a guided tour, there was an expectation that we would get a tour of the facility and see how things work from start to finish. This is not what you will get. The info session in the beginning was interesting but could be done for free and the shop is available for the public for free. Then the second part is just a tasting with info videos. I would have wanted to see the actual workings, the nursery etc. The tasting was great and I would recommend this to everyone.

    Amazing experience at the Inverroche Gin Distillery in Stilbaai! From the moment we arrived, we could feel the staff’s genuine passion for the product. It was clear that this passion comes from the vision of founder Lorna Scott and is carried through by the whole team. The gin tasting was beautifully presented and unlike anything we had experienced before. Each gin had its own unique flavour profile, making the tasting both interesting and enjoyable. It truly felt like a journey through different botanicals and tastes rather than just a simple tasting. A fantastic and memorable experience that we would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys gin or wants to try something new.

    Four of us experienced the guided tour - two of us being gin drinkers. Everyone was extremely friendly and our guide was very knowledgeable. The tasting was a real eye opener! Who would have believed that the addition of fruit rind and a bite of chocolate could make such a huge difference to the taste!? All in all, good value for money. By way of constructive feedback, it would be preferable not to have the background music on during the first part of the tour. It was not easy to hear our guide telling us the history of the distillery.

    Really enjoyed our visit, it was my birthday and staff made it very special. The surroundings and ambiance was excellent and the gin was pretty good too x

    We absolutely loved our tour and tasting at Interroche. It was extremely well organised, and Annelise’s knowledge really enhanced the experience. Highly recommended! The light lunch afterwards was delicious as well.
