    I cannot really fault our experience at this establishment. Really 5 stars all round, maybe the price point a little too steep if I'm being really critical. But the food is amazing, so I guess you kinda pay for the excellence in their culinary skill! Flavours were off the chart, had people groaning with contentment. Ambience was good, quiet which meant loads of conversations were had. Our waitress Holly was knowledgeable and truly excellent at her job! All round, our son had a truly amazing culinary experience for his 21st birthday, couldn't have asked for more!!

    We visited Iron Steak in Bree Street for my father’s 60th birthday dinner. Our waiter was great and even brought out a complimentary dessert for my father. Our only concerns were how long it took to be seated and the food. We all took advantage of the burger special and all agreed that the burger was made to be incredibly rich and fatty/oily. As great as frying everything in wagyu fat is I think they need to cut back a bit on it. Another thing we noticed was the manager on duty appeared to be quite rude to the staff which is just not nice to see! Employees should be treated with respect and not embarrassed in-front of customers. We still had a nice time, but do think these are things are worth mentioning.

    I am always impressed by the quality of PAN Collection restaurants. This was my first visit to Iron Steak and it did not disappoint. I can go on about the Wagu dripping popcorn and fries or the oozy goodness of the beef patties that paired beautifully with my Neethlingshof Pinotage but what really stood out for me is the quality of service! Thank you to the manager Jake for making my friend's 65th birthday so special. You're a star and you're going places! Thank you to Evidence for the excellent service even if our water did take longer than our wine to arrive :P and thank you for being our photographer. The rest of the staff helped clear as needed which goes to show the level of training and service. Finally, the complementary Happy Birthday cake was truly the cherry on top of a perfect meal out. See you again soon :D
