    Although we booked and confirmed well in advance for a table to celebrate Mother's Day, we had to wait almost 15 minutes in the freezing cold, draughty reception area, for them to arrange a table for us. Not a great start. What is the point of booking if you have to wait for your table??? The food as always, was superb, but the door is not automated and kept being left open, and the icy wind coming in was unpleasant. It's one thing when it opens briefly for patrons to come in and out, but it kept being left open for lengthy periods. The waitress brought the wrong wine which I didn't notice until after it was opened. The waitress was not particularly friendly. Still love the food and the ambiance, but the management is sadly a bit slack.

    We enjoyed their Thursday night couples special which we can highly recommend. Good value for couples dining out. It includes a welcome drink, shared starter plate, mains each and shared dessert plate. Our waiter was wonderful, friendly and brilliant service. We will definitely go again
