Chef and charcuterie whizz Neil Jewell, together with his wife Tina Jewell, at the helm of this farm-to-table eatery at Spice Route Destination. The open-kitchen restaurant has comfortable yet sophisticated-country style indoor seating as well as outdoor seating with picturesque views of the Simonsberg Mountains and Table Mountain. As you would expect, only the best-quality ingredients are used in the dishes, including organic Red Angus beef from Charles Backs herd, with a regularly updated seasonal menu.

    Everything just perfect! Every plate we ordered, 4 starters, 1 main, 2 deserts incredibly delicious. Couldn’t be better!

    We had the most wonderful time at Jewell's. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The service was exceptional. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

    It was the last gasp of summer - 38 degrees. We sat outside on the terrace looking over the browning landscape towards the mountains, drinking a pink gin sling (gin from the on-site distillery) and a beer from the on-site brewery. The charcuterie plate was a perfect choice for such a hot day, together with the bread board and its interesting spreads. I had a grilled vegetable salad - listed as a light dish but I couldn’t finish it, there was so much. Sublime pannacotta with fruit preserves ended the delicious meal. The service is relaxed but attentive. I highly recommend this as a lunch venue.
