    Great food, wine and service at Kiki. Favorite dishes were the chargrilled fish and lamb shoulder. Kyle, our waiter, was also excellent.

    I actually found the whole experience of booking and having to pay R1800 upfront.very encroaching. It was my birthday and I was told that I could book a restaurant. I chose Kiki's, tried to call and couldn't get through. I sent an email which they confirmed I could get and 8.30 table and then I must have had 4 messages from Dineplan to pay R1800. I did not pay immediately as I was travelling and too embarrassed to ask someone else to pay the deposit. The next day I got another at least 4 emails about the payment. I paid the R1800. An hour before I was due to be at the restaurant I then got phoned to check I was coming. I found this whole experience incase and insensitive. I also asked if they could do anything for my 60th birthday and was told they don't do anything complimenaty. Again I found at the kind of prices one was paying for the meal that honestly they could have acknowledged it on the night in some way. I didnt expect a Spur sing along but the whole experience has left a bad taste. The service was good but not exceptional and I think that was a large deposit to pay up front.

    The food was okay in terms of taste, but it had little to do with Greek or Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant was very busy, which made it difficult for the service to keep up. However, the waitress was very nice, apologised and thanked us for our patience. The restaurant's interior is great, but the atmosphere could use some improvement.

    The waitress forgot about our table about halfway into our meal. Didn’t bring our Greek salad or the last bottle of water we ordered. The orzo was too salty to enjoy. Won’t come back
