    Good Day It was a very, very disappointing experience, least to say. Your pictures on your website painted a different picture to the reality we experienced. When I did the booking, I informed Klein Kaap that it was for my anniversary and needed to be special and special request of NO peppers and there comes the wraps with peppadews. On arrival, we were put between other guests, no privacy or anything as seen on the website. I asked to be moved to have more privacy, seeing that it was our first anniversary. The staff was very accommodating and gladly moved us to be back. A table was set up next to a bar counter with pieces of hose pipe on the ground, with a spotlight coming down on us. Let's not even talk about the amount of mosquitos and then get given a used roll on mosquito repellent, which we were not prepared to use it is unhygienic. The waitress could sense we were not happy, but she kept apologising for certain information she did not know as she was new. When the food arrived, I thought I ordered a fruit basket and bread wrapped in glad wrap ??? OMW, please go and look at your picnic pictures vs. what was served for the price I paid and then to say the Floral u get is the Sunflower squished in between the food .... really ??? And no choice was given Protea or Sunflower?? We did not even get given the choice to take it as we thought it was part of the basket until we asked, and from what I understand, the flower was thrown away. I truly waisted our time and money for such a poorly executed experience. I will not recommend Klein Kaap!!! I will definitely put it out on social media that this experience is not worth the money you pay.

    The food was not value for money especially since beverages were excluded. We were highly disappointed. However, the experience was lovely and our waiter was very friendly. Next time I would much rather order from the menu than select the picnic option.

    The food was interesting and well prepared, but the value of the food didn't match the price by far. Beautiful area under the trees but there was a nasty smell that presented itself now and then. We told the waiter it could be a dead bird. We had to v call reception to get the citronella candle lit again to keep the flies at bay and order drinks because the waiter didnt check on us regularly. Service was friendly and helpful overall. Lovely place.
