    We had a picnic for 2 and added our English Bulldog for lunch. The food including the Doggy Platter was simply incredible.

    Unfortunately, it ended up raining on the day we had booked. We had called beforehand to enquire whether the experience would still be as special and we were assured it would be. When we got to the venue, we had been put at the back-end of the Hotel next to a conference/storage room, under a small covering where it was cold and wet, with no ambience at all. We asked for a refund/to be able to move it to a later date, but we were told it would not be possible as they had already prepped the food. They were also fully booked, so couldn’t host us in the original room where they apparently move people to when it rains. We are sure the experience would be nice on a Sunny day, but we would have preferred that they had just been honest about the situation and moved us out to a later date, instead of trying to “fit us in” in a way that doesn’t live up to the standard/experience you’re paying for.

    Victor was the one assisting us for the day, and he was absolutely FABULOUS!! Very attentive, made a contingency plan when it started raining, which elevated our experience. Everything was spot on, it was a perfect day, great ambience and service. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you for everything.
