La Parada Bar De Tapas is a tribute to the Spanish bars that bewitched Hemingway. La Parada offers tapas born from Spanish heritage.

With an impressive interior, boasting ornate pressed ceilings, a miscellany of chairs and lampshades and an electic selection of Spanish tiles, La Parada specialises in sharing small plates that incorporates a Spanish flair and a great vibe. With many patrons popping in for afternoon drinks and a light bite, rather than a sit-down dinner – which is after all the origin of tapas – the drinks list encourages as much experimentation as the menu.

    We reserved a table indoors and the manager came to force us to go outside because they changed at the last minute that the event they were hosing would have VIP seated inside. The manager was quite rude. Will not be going there again

    It was lovely. But the space between tables was limited which speaks to over booking of the place.
