    Lovely new addition to Meerendal wine farm. Date night Wednesday is so worth the money. Really lovely food and friendly service.

    Table was not ready for 1130 booking. Hostess was confused who's table was who's. Kept on asking if we could borrow them chairs, after we told them they could have the extra table and chairs. Great setting, and service from waitrons made up for the above.

    The service, although very friendly, took a while before we got even a drinks order in. The foodd was good but not great. I had the fish and chips. The chips were very oily and did not look great. The fish was OK, but not great. My wife had a salad which looked quite good and my parents meals were also fine. My son had the chicken strips and chips - same thing with the chips and the chicken looked a bit dry. The ambience is nice, but with like many restuarants, they pay very little attention to acoustics - solid floors, walls and very little sound obsorbing materials. It was not terrible but could improve a bit. I won't rush back but I'd definately return.
