Set in a converted house in central Franschhoek, the atmosphere at Le Bon Vivant is homely and relaxed, while reminiscent of contemporary French restaurants. The glass wall allows you to see Pierre Hendriks and his team at work. Tables are also available in the shaded garden next to the restaurant for lunch and dinner on warm summer evenings.

    Wonderful food! Great service. Definitely one to visit when in Franschhoek. We book it every year when here on holiday and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend!!

    The food was totally delicious and unusual combinations, all very well constructed. Large portions and very colourful. Definitely one of the top restaurants in Franschhoek

    Chef Pierre. continues to astound with his culinary creations. Each dish is a celebration of complimentary tastes presented with artistic flair. Given that I have been many times I was surprised that I should have been surprised. However food presented at this level is always a pleasure. Oh what did I have.... Fillet of Beef for me.... Crayfish and Mussels for my wife. Delightful Aaldering Shiraz to accompany.
