Fantastic starters and mains, unfortunately the dessert was disappointing - in both selection and execution. Our waitress was lovely, she was extremely professional and had a thorough knowledge of the menu and wine-list.

What a fabulous evening we had here! Chose the Surprise menu 6 course tasting with wine pairings and it was superb, both in terms of culinary imagination as well as food quality. The wines were tremendous as well. One can get fairly spoiled for gastronomy in the Cape region, but especially in Franschoek. Definitely recommend. Beautiful ambiance as well. And if you love a cardamom soufflé… oh yes.

Service was very pleasant, but we could see that one server knew all the details of the food, and one was just guessing. Also, I asked for a glass of Pinot Gris and got what I was sure was a Sauvignon Blanc… then asked for a Chardonnay and got the same Sauvignon Blanc! Not sure how both orders could be so misinterpreted… Food was tasty enough. Good value.

Enjoyed our 4 course tasting menu with wine flights. Remembered visiting 17 years ago, the last time we were in Franschoek! End of season so very quiet. Good service & generous with wine. Amuse bouche we thought was a little "heavy".
