Set in a converted house in central Franschhoek, the atmosphere at Le Bon Vivant is homely and relaxed, while reminiscent of contemporary French restaurants. The glass wall allows you to see Pierre Hendriks and his team at work. Tables are also available in the shaded garden next to the restaurant for lunch and dinner on warm summer evenings.

    We continue to return again and again to Le Bon Vivant for special occasion meals. The staff is friendly, attending to every need, and the food is so beautifully designed and prepared that one reluctantly begins to eat, only to find that it is as scrumptious as it looks.     phantastic food and presentation, cosy location, table wind protected in the corner. Tiny deficits in service, but overall a clear 10!
