    My friend and I had brunch here on the weekend. Beautiful day so the location was lovely, but the service was lack lustre and food really underwhelming. The waiter couldn't really explain the salmon dish beyond the menu, it sounded okay so tried it but the fish was overcooked and was a little slimy texturally. It was also slathered in this sauce which didn't balance well and the veg was overdone too. We tried to feedback to the manager but it took almost thirty minutes and by then we just wanted to leave. They took our coffees off as an apology, so I guess at R60 a coffee, a nice gesture? Either way, overrated and underwhelming. Wouldn't return

    What was supposed to be a treat whilst down here on work stay - turned into a disappointment. Food was great. Staff seemed disinterested & dismissive. Even though I had a booking and the front tables were free I was placed at the back and the ambiance was disturbed by a loud staff member discussing her personal experiences with the kitchen. My food was thrown down on my table with no eye contact or discussion if I needed anything further - I had beg for help for condiments and ice and then to top it all staff started sweeping under my table. As I was there for only 30 minutes I found this a bit distasteful and asked the staff member to please go away whilst I was trying to enjoy my meal. On paying the bill I was asked if I enjoyed -which I said I had not - much to everyone’s surprise and to top it all a very cocky manager called Meg said that I should not have asked her staff to stop sweeping. 🤯 Not what I expected from what i previously found so lovely If I treated my clients like this - we would go out of business - but as this chain has the lion share - what makes them hungry to care about their reputation and how they treat non resident CT South Africans Winter is coming ☄️and an oil travel crisis 🧐you made need us locals going forwards

    Lilys is a favourite go to place for good food, and good service. Can't go wrong here. Well recommended

    What a perfect experience! It was the best prawn curry and prawn linguini we have ever had! Service superb! Have recommended to many friends!
