Located in a prime spot near the top of Long Street, we serve wholesome breakfasts, home-baked bread, coffees, juices, and lunches. If the sun is out, grab a table on the pavement and chat to our friendly staff to find out what the chef recommends each day.

    A very disappointing experience. They put us upstairs in a +18club - we have a 3 year old so this felt highly inappropriate. If you can't fit reservations in your actual restaurant just say you are full - I would have preferred to find another venue had I known this. Service was slow because we were in a different building and I had to keep going next door to hurry things up. The food was below par - considering the previous reviews - I had higher expectations and was thoroughly disappointed.

    A small restaurant with an excellent food selection including some unusual choices such as ostrich and zebra. Service was friendly and all members of the staff were engaging with the members of our party and interested in sharing thoughts as we were all from the United States. The ambience was particularly special as there was a guitarist and percussionist performing on the sidewalk outside. With windows to the restaurant open, the music was at a perfect level for dinner conversation. I highly recommend Lola's for a somewhat non-traditional dining experience.
