Loxtonia Farm is situated in the heart of the Western Cape farmlands, in the Ceres Valley. Owned by the Whitfield family since 1990. The art of making fine apple cider first took place at Loxtonia Farm in 2013, when the family run farmstead identified a gap in the South African market.

Loxtonia Farm exports apples, pears and plums world-wide while also supplying a small percentage of fruit to the local South African market. Founder & Head Cider Maker of Loxtonia Cider, Larry Whitfield realised that he could turn this into a two-fold passion project by using the juice from the apples to become the first Cidery in Ceres.

    The ciders were all enjoyable with a a great variety of snacks available. The snacks were however a bit small for the pricing. An added bonus however was the breeze blowing though the open deck which overlooked the apple orchards.

    This was an amazing day. Jo you made it a day full of fun and new experiences. We enjoyed every minute of it. The food and drinks was out of this world lekker. Thank you so much.

    Was my second time at Loxtonia for the tasting experience and I loved it every time. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
