    More than half of the flavours available for margaritas were out of stock . The ones that we ordered that was available was eventually all sold out, very disappointing considering it’s a Saturday evening . The waitress for the drink orders wrong all the time Quite a disappointing experience at your branch

    Had an early dinner - food was excellent and service was good. Quite a few local beers not available, which was unusual. Music was very loud for an early evening dinner timeslot around 6pm, so quite difficult to have a normal conversation. Ambience great for a late night party, but keep the volume down earlier especially when only a few tables are occupied. Overall a good evening.

    Absolutely horrified at finding a CLUMP of hair in our food... Not just a strand but a CLUMP. We went to the Blouberg branch on Sunday afternoon (30/08/2026). Everything was just a stuff up. 1. No stock of BBQ sauce for the pulled pork birria 2. No stock of a few flavours for cocktails So we ended up ordering beef birrias and passion fruit frozen margaritas. We didn't finish the margaritas as they didn't taste like passion fruit but a mixture of something else and they didn't have the salted rim. Some of this seems like nit picking but just highlighting our whole experience compared to what we've received before. We ended up taking a birria home as a takeaway, where we found the hair. The beef was also very salty. And to top it off, I emailed Mamacitas the same evening and over a week later, no response. We have been to your establishment multiple times and always enjoyed it but our experience was cause for us to not return or recommend you.
