The aloo bombs on the starter menu sound too delicious to resist and dont disappoint: rice-and-potato balls flavoured with coriander and filled with cheese are rolled in crispy crackles (or sev, made from chickpea flour seasoned with turmeric and cayenne) before being deep-fried. Theyre served with a moreish creamy-sweet ketchup that we scrape clean out of its little bowl. Other starters include chicken kebabs, dosa triangles filled with potato curry and cheese, and vada (lentil based savoury doughnuts) filled with roasted spices, ginger, coconut and coriander.
