Welcome to Mila at Doolhof
Mila is situated in the original wagon house, built in the late 19th century. With ample light flowing in from the large windows and doors, guests are invited to linger, taste and purchase superb wines and sample our flavourful dishes.

A large terrace filled with pops of colour surrounded by lush gardens, making it the ideal spot to enjoy our menu on offer or a beautiful stroll through the estate.

Please note we are a cashless restaurant.

    Lovely outdoor seating. The food was below averange all the dishes were ok but definitly needs seasoning and finesse. The pork belly was very dry with no sauce. The truffle,mushrooms and egg dish was a ripp off and major dissapiontment it was cold and the were no truffle in the dish and no butter for the bread also no sauce thats why we wanted butter for the bread. Gaeynor and the manger where friendly rest of the staff looked like you did them an injustice for comming not friendly or helpfull or attentive.

    Beautiful scenery . Almost thought I had the wrong address driving to Doolhof. Off a tar road onto a gravel road, a long stretch. The beauty of nature surrounds one. Food was good. Lamb shank had a different sauce which was really refreshing as all restaurants seem to make it in a tomato sauce. Lamb shank was really very tasty and fell from the bone. The sirloin steak on toast was another favourite at our table. Well priced. We were not very impress with the cakes. Maybe update the desserts. Something special or different would round the menu off better. Staff was fiendly and attentive. One can even go walk in the forest that surrounds Doolhof. The staff was all dressed the same way - . Looks cute. Only one problem, they need to keep the toilets cleaner, Unisex toilet at the top was very dirty.

    We really enjoyed the meal, the wine and the service was very good. Only comment with 90% of restaurants in RSA is why does it take 15-20 mins to get the bill and pay. We will definitely be back.
