Situated on the beautiful Lourensford Wine Estate at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains in Somerset West, The Millhouse Kitchen offers a beautiful venue to enjoy a meal or celebrate a special event.

Owner Rob Smailes and Chef Gustaaf Boshoff's aim is to create a neighbourhood feel where guests can relax while enjoying a meal together. Our menus are inspired by fresh, seasonal ingredients and children are always welcome..

    First time I had breakfast at Millhouse Kitchen (been there many times for lunch). What a fantastic experience. I had "The Italian" which was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. The service was great and the prices surprisingly low - similar to the commercial chains. And of course the location is exceptional. Recommend the Glass House seating best of both worlds feels like you are in the gardens but protected from the elements. This will definitely become a breakfast regular

    Our food was delicious! Oxtail and Porkbelly...both dishes were well prepared and just what we needed after a long day. Tiramisu portion just enough but mascarpone cream could use a bit more flavour depth. All and all a lovely experience.

    The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection. Just the way I'd requested. Melt in the mouth and very tasty. Chips were the best I've had in a while. What a lovely meal. Would highly recommend. My compliments to the chef and the staff at The Millhouse Kitchen. My friend and I were well taken care of!
