Located in the heart of Gauteng’s busiest tourism route, Molitva is perfectly positioned in The Cradle of Humankind. A mere 3km’s from the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve, this country gem is a quick turn off Kromdraai Road. Specialising in fresh, organic, homegrown fruits and vegetables, Molitva’s mouthwatering food menu will charm any tastebuds. The menu is largely centered around a range of mezze and tapas styled foods from various Mediterranean cuisines, but also offers those that prefer something a little more substantial; homemade pasta’s, an array of salads, a selection of grills and a variety of appetizing burgers.

Head chef and part owner, Milan Cerimaj describes Molitva’s cuisine as “Orthodox Mediterranean” with subtle twists and adaptations.

Surrounded by the green, lush countryside and mountainous views, this restaurant and pub is the perfect setting for a day out with the family, a romantic date or a time to kick back and relax with friends.

The front staff needs to be trained to manage service, i was always wonderign why the place has gotten empty. It was a busy day yesterday i took a family of 6 only gotten to have our starters after 1hr!! What i notices is that seems like there is also shortage of resources how can you not have dedicated bar man and barrister on such a day. Would have made 3xtime revenue we all know drinks cost more than food. The waiters were running like chicken but you could see things were falling apart. I am seriously considering whether to go back there again and as for my family celebrations i will NOT go back.

We had a very pleasant Mother's Day lunch which let into the evening at Molitva. There was live performance, painting and jumping castle for the little ones. The food and the ambience is always great. When we feel like being away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Molitva is always our go to place.

An all round good experience. Food was great. The staff are pleasant and attentive. The manager is active between patrons, that is refreshing. I will be back.

A beautiful venue, excellent food, my calamari could be a larger portion though, and first class service. Thank you.
